About the author

Hi there, I’m Preethi. I’m a writer, mental health counseling graduate, and a woman deeply passionate about truth, healing, and helping others find freedom in their lives and faith. After spending years preparing to become an elementary school teacher, God uniquely met me and redirected my steps toward mental health counseling. What began as a planned career path slowly became something I experienced more as a calling than a change of direction.

I’ve learned what it means to wrestle, to heal, to rebuild, and to listen more closely to God’s voice in seasons of uncertainty. These experiences have shaped my compassion for others and deepened my belief that healing is possible. This book is the beginning of that unfolding story.

Today, I’m continuing to follow Jesus—the Wonderful Counselor—learning to integrate faith, psychology, and lived experience into how I show up in the world and walk with others. Thank you for being here. I hope this book meets you with honesty, encouragement, and hope.
